About Jaguar specialist Legacy Motors

I am Lars Vreeswijk, founder of Legacy Motors. As a Jaguar specialist, I work on the maintenance, repair, and restoration of Jaguars and other English classic cars. With over ten years of experience as a mechanic, including eight years at Kolvenbach, I have extensive knowledge of classic engineering, engines, and complete restorations.

 

With a technical and personal approach, I assess what a car needs and ensure that every project is executed professionally, with an eye for detail.

THE WORKSHOP

How does a visit work?

You can drop by without an appointment (see our opening hours). Would you like to make an appointment? Then you can call or email. Upon arrival, we will look at the car together and discuss what you have noticed or what you would like to have checked. We will then carry out a technical inspection and provide clear advice on what is needed and what it will cost.

We will keep you informed during the work. No surprises, no work carried out without consultation.

UPGRADE

EFI injection kit + ECU upgrade

A modern EFI injection kit with ECU from Mobeck Teknisken has been installed in this Jaguar XJS V12. This complete solution replaces the original injection and ignition system and enables driving without a mechanical distributor.

 

The set consists of, among other things, an ECU, a complete wiring harness, injectors with mounting brackets, an electronic idle control valve, a trigger wheel, coil packs, and a wideband lambda sensor for closed-loop control. This ensures better starting performance, more stable engine operation, and higher reliability of the V12 engine.

 

An ideal upgrade for those who want to technically modernize their Jaguar XJS, XJ, or E-type V12 while preserving the original character.
