About Jaguar specialist Legacy Motors
I’m Lars Vreeswijk, founder of Legacy Motors. As a Jaguar specialist, I work daily on the repair, maintenance, and restoration of Jaguars and other British classic cars. I focus on classic engineering as it was originally intended, with attention to detail and a clear, technical approach.

With over ten years of experience as a mechanic, including eight years at Kolvenbach. I have completed numerous projects: engine rebuilds, carburettor and injection systems, brake and suspension work, electrical diagnostics, bodywork, and full restorations. This experience forms the foundation of my work as a Jaguar specialist.
I approach every job with a clear, technical method: first assessing what the car needs, then determining the most sensible steps, and finally performing the work according to the correct specifications. When necessary, I collaborate with skilled professionals who uphold the same technical standards, ensuring every component is handled properly.
